FGSZ Natural Gas Transmission Closed Company Limited by Shares hereby announces the launch of the binding phase to sell capacities of the Hungarian part of interconnector between Eustream’s and FGSZ’ natural gas transmission systems. (the SK-HU Interconnector). At the same time Eustream announces the start to allocate transmission capacity in the Slovak part of the interconnector to market participants.

The binding phase follows up the first, non-binding phase, which took place at the end of 2009 with positive results. In this phase, the market participants can submit their binding booking bids for transmission capacity. Except of the participants, who have already registered in terms of the non-binding phase, also further applicants are invited.

Extension of the deadline

In order to provide the applicants with more comfort in the decision-making process, Eustream and FGSZ extend the deadline for submitting binding bids for transmission capacity by 31 May 2010. Timetable of the binding Open Season Phase:

• 01/03/2010 - Start of the registration process
• till 15/03/2010 - Submission of questions
• 30/03/2010 - Information meeting
• till 31/05/2010 - Submission of binding bids
• 15/06/2010 - Evaluation and allocation process, publication of the results
• till 15/07/2010 - Conclusion of transmission contracts

Applicants, who will register in the binding phase of the Open Season Process, will be invited to an information meeting. Further detailed information to the binding phase of the Open Season Procedure will be uploaded at the web pages of Eustream and FGSZ gradually in the next days.
