Natural gas transmission licensee
The holder of the natural gas transmission license will provide to every party having access to the system the following basic services:

1. Conclusion of natural gas transmission contracts for the transmission system capacities published in the Business and Commercial Code (or Regulation) as it follows:
The outlet pressure rates should be selected between 3,0 and 15,0 bar. The set pressure rate will have the tolerance limit +5 -4 %. (No extra fee will be charged for outlet pressure rates higher than the said limit in accordance with capacity declarations issued prior to January 1, 2005.)
The gas temperature measured at the outlet points (points of delivery) cannot be lower than 0 C° during periods other than specified in the service contract.
2. Implementation of transmission orders in accordance with the nominations submitted by parties having access to the system and the provisions of the relevant transmission contracts, as well as:
- to take-off the natural gas at the entry or inlet points;
- to deliver and document natural gas at the outlet points (points of delivery) in terms of quantity and quality;
- to ship natural gas delivered by parties having access to the system between the inlet and outlet points, including custodian services for such gas.
3. Data supply to the contractual partner as specified in the relevant laws, decrees and Business and Commercial Code (or Regulation).
4. Financial settlement on the transmission tariffs and fees with the contractual partner.
5. To secure the prescribed measurements (See: Appendix no. IV of the Business and Commercial Code of the Hungarian Natural Gas System).
6. To manage the transmission system capacity commitment process in accordance with the relevant laws, decrees and Business and Commercial Code:
- to manage the annual, monthly and daily capacity commitments;
- to implement and administer auctions;
- to analyse the transmission system capacities and define such capacities at the inlet and outlet points;
- to publish the nominal and free capacities of the transmission system for the relevant inlet and outlet points;
- To manage and administer the re-sale of the free transmission capacities once cancelled or returned.
Any services will be provided by the holder of the transmission license only the relevant contract has been signed and is in effect.
Parties having access to the system will be entitled to use the basic services provided by the holder of the natural gas transmission license against the payment of transmission tariffs specified in separate laws and in accordance with the related pricing conditions.
Contracting parties will agree on optional services (in addition to basic services) in accordance with the provisions laid down in the Business Code (e.g. settlement, documentation).
