Quality assurance and HSE
Operational safety of the pipeline system can be best guaranteed if we expect high quality already during the planning phase but particularly when actual implementation is going on.

Our short and long term goal is to create shareholder value along a stabilised and consolidated growth path, to increase customers’ satisfaction based on measurements or surveys, supported by basic services and cooperation between plants and consumers, and to mitigate HSE (health, safety and environment) risks associated with the transmission.
We develop our systems as shown in the survey for consumers’ future demand and in accordance with the requirements set out by the European Union. We apply the best available technology (BAT), regularly audit our equipments, and operate reasonably and professionally installed technical information systems. We try to minimise the HSE risks arising from or related to these technologies and their operations, as well as consumption and utilisation of our products and maintain such risks at acceptable levels.
We maintain regular and open communication with our clients and people living in cities or villages affected by our operations.
We modify and adjust our processes with the purpose to improve our customers’ satisfaction, based on the comments, observations and surveys.
We permanently develop our technical knowledge and improve our organisational culture. One of our key long term targets is to improve the status of health of our employees through implementing the high-level health protection program.
We also intend to ensure full compliance with the relevant legal requirements and high-level MOL Group standards. We assume a pro-active role in the legislative process through ensuring participation in various professional and industrial organisations and cooperation with the lawmakers.
We expect each of our suppliers and market partners ensuring full compliance with our HSE policy and standards, becoming fully aware and cooperating with us in implementing our strategy, particularly in case of long term partnership.
We pay specific attention to ensuring safe and healthy conditions to work in our premises, maintain clean working environment and good housekeeping practices, and we follow the principle of prudence, careful and responsible corporate citizenship. With these commitments we wish to contribute to securing sustainable development.
We support the initiatives aiming at the exploitation of renewable sources of energy in order that we can maintain energy efficiency and reduce emission of greenhouse gases.
The target of MOL Group is to stabilise our position in the peer group of internationally recognised oil companies, also pursuant to our HSE performance. Therefore HSE issues are regarded as important as the core business issues.
